Registration opens July 1 every year for the next solicitation period. Charitable organizations seeking to fundraise in Alaska must adhere to the state’s requirements by registering with the Department of Law before soliciting contributions. Registration and renewal are straightforward, requiring completion of an online form with a modest fee. It's important to meet the September 1 deadline to avoid penalties under the Alaska Charitable Solicitations Act. Organizations should maintain accurate, up-to-date records and review Alaska’s guidelines annually to ensure compliance.
