What is a commercial co-venture?

A commercial co-venture (CCV) is a partnership where a business donates a portion of its sales to a nonprofit. It's an effective way to support a cause while promoting products. However, businesses must register as CCVs and adhere to reporting requirements in many jurisdictions.

What is a professional fundraiser?

Professional fundraisers, typically hired by nonprofits to raise money, can expand audience reach and fundraising efficiency. This can also include charitable sweepstakes, where donations are tied to a chance to win prizes. Both professional fundraisers and charitable sweepstakes are regulated by state laws to ensure transparency and protect donors.

I already have a payment processor. How exactly does Change fit into my company’s current workflow?

At the end of every month, Change will invoice your company for the donations it has pledged using our platform. Upon receiving payment for your invoice, Change will immediately begin to process the funds and grant them to your designated nonprofit. Change is not a payment processor and you will not need to replace any of your company's infrastructure in order to use Change or our Donations API.
