Our Change Foundation (OCF) is a Donor-Advised Fund which distributes grants made by corporate partners, such as Bonfire.
Change is a donation processing platform and Bonfire’s giving tech partner. We make it easy for businesses to integrate giving into their apps, websites, and more.
Change is a company that helps businesses and nonprofits send and receive grants through our dashboard and tech platform. Change utilizes Our Change Foundation as its DAF to distribute grants to the designated nonprofit. Change does not take any percentage or cut from grants made to nonprofits.
When a payout is requested, donations made through Bonfire are first collected by OCF. Following collection, the funds are then distributed to the specific nonprofit organizations they are intended to support.
Change recommends all nonprofits sign up for direct deposit (ACH) for receiving donations. ACH is faster and more secure compared to other payment methods. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our support team at hello@getchange.io.
Payouts are scheduled for processing by Bonfire four times a month: on the 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd. For direct deposits (ACH), please expect a processing time of up to one week. If you opt for a check, the processing could take between two to four weeks depending on the frequency your nonprofit receives checks from OCF. Payout timing for all payout methods depends on your nonprofit’s payout frequency settings. To see all payouts that have been to sent to you, click here. You can find the donation breakdowns for a payout that has been sent to you by going to your payouts and clicking on the desired payout. This will show a breakdown for the donation payouts which you can use to compare to your payouts in Bonfire’s dashboard.
